Detailed Information Description
This fine antique vintage Ca 1830 A. Mockridge Double Cutter plane. It has the J. M Crain owner name several times on toe and heel The cutters are pitted and rusty and would need to be cleaned & sharpened. One measures approximately: 7″ x 1-1/4″ W. The skewed one measures: 7-1/4″ x 1-1/16h. This plane has some typical stains and scars from age and use. It is a very good user. The wedges are original and the plane has a great smooth feel and patina.
