Detailed Information Description
This Stanley No 3 Type 16 Ca 1933-41 Made in USA bench smooth plane has been taken apart and gently restored to present condition. The plane’s japanning is is good condition except for few spots where it is worn. It has the horizontal Stanley on the adjustable lever. The knob and tote are in good condition with some dings & wear but NO CRACKS OR REPAIRS. The plane measures 9-1/4″ x 2-1/8″. The sole and cheeks have some signs of use but have cleaned up nicely. NOTE:There is the former owners name “Jerry Breen” on each cheek. The cutter has the Stanley Notched logo Made in USA. It measures: 7-3/8 L x 1-3/4″ W. I always suggest sharpening the cutter to get it back to an optimal cutting edge. There is Bailey behind knob and the No 3 in front of knob.
