This unusual tobacco axe is in “as found” excellent condition. The blacksmith made riveted one-piece head wraps around handle and measures 5″ x 5-1/2″ and it is unmarked. It weighs 1lb 2oz. The wood handle measures 14-1/2″ is great and the finish is perfect. Overall it measures 18″. The eye is 1-1/8″ W. It has a great feel and patina, and ready to go to work for you. Head has a very tight fit, not loose or wobbly. Might need to be sharpened. A fine tobacco axe for your collection.
